February 11, 2024 A church safety and active-shooter preparedness event was held at the Fremont, MI Seventh-day Adventist church. Brian Kittleson led 30 participants through class sessions addressing alertness, danger in transitional spaces, steps to strengthen church safety, along with de-escalation, run, hide, and fight options. The same day this event was held there was a shooting event at a church in Housten, Texas.
